Reports, complaints and appeals

Point of contact
For anything to do with content, reports or moderation on tamam.be, there is one address. Users and authorities reach us at the same place; we keep this point deliberately undivided so that a report never falls between two inboxes.
You may write to us in Dutch, French, English, Turkish, Russian or Polish.
Reporting something
Do you believe a request, quote or profile is unlawful or breaches our terms? Report it, and tell us:
- what you believe is wrong, as concretely as you can;
- where it is — the link or the number of the request, quote or profile;
- your name and email address, so that we can answer you;
- a confirmation that your report is, in good faith, accurate and complete.
No account is needed. We confirm receipt by email and tell you what we decided.
What happens next
We review every report and take a decision. Both the reporter and the person concerned are told what it is, along with the facts it rests on — not only the outcome.
We always state whether the decision was taken by automated means or by a staff member who looked at the content themselves.
Disagree with a decision?
You have six months from our decision to complain, by replying to the email containing it or by writing to our point of contact. We look at the case again — this time always by a staff member — and tell you the outcome.
Outside tamam.be
Your rights do not end with our procedure. With or without a prior complaint, the following remain open:
- the Consumer Mediation Service (FPS Economy)
- a certified out-of-court dispute settlement body (art. 21 DSA); the list of approved bodies is kept by the Belgian Digital Services Coordinator (BIPT). We are required to engage with such a body, but are not bound by its outcome.
- the ordinary courts; going to court always remains possible.
